Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 24, 2026

Welcome to SkillOrb Trials ("the Game"). By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. License to Play

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You do not own the Game or any of its content — you are granted a license to use it.

2. Account and Identity

The Game uses a device-based identity system. Your game identity is tied to your device, not an email or social account. You are responsible for:

Keeping your cloud backup recovery code safe and private
Understanding that restoring a backup creates an independent copy and does not sync across devices
The content you post on the Forge Wall and your behavior in PVP

We are not responsible for lost progress due to device loss, app deletion, or failure to back up your data.

3. In-App Purchases

The Game may offer optional in-app purchases ("IAPs") for digital items, cosmetics, and gameplay enhancements. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
Purchased items are digital goods with no real-world monetary value and cannot be traded, sold, or transferred outside the Game.
IAP unlocks are tied to your device and shared across all profile slots on that device. They do not transfer via cloud backup or recovery codes.
We reserve the right to modify, rebalance, or retire purchasable items at any time to maintain game balance, with reasonable notice provided through the in-game notices system.
Refund requests must be directed to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not to us.

4. User Conduct

When using community features (Forge Wall, PVP Arena, Leaderboard), you agree not to:

Use offensive, harassing, or inappropriate player names
Post spam, offensive content, or misleading information on the Forge Wall
Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities to gain unfair advantages
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Game
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Game
Interfere with other players' enjoyment of the Game

We reserve the right to remove content, reset progress, or restrict access to online features for players who violate these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the Game — including but not limited to artwork, character designs, music, sound effects, text, game mechanics, and code — is the intellectual property of SkillOrb Trials and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Game content without our written permission.

User-generated content (such as Forge Wall posts) remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the Game.

6. Online Features and Availability

Certain features require an internet connection and our servers to be operational:

Global Leaderboard
Forge Wall (community posts)
PVP Arena
Cloud Backup

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of online features. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily or permanently affect these services. All core single-player gameplay works offline.

7. Game Updates and Changes

We may update the Game at any time to add features, fix bugs, rebalance gameplay, or modify content. These updates may affect your builds, strategies, or progression. We will communicate significant changes through the in-game notices system.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend your access to online features if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Game ends, but locally stored data remains on your device.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of progress, or inability to access online features.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify players of significant changes through the in-game notices system.
